Garden Party Wilts 9th Sept 2007
"The Royal Society of St George Wiltshire Branch will be holding a garden party on Sunday 9th September 2007 at North Bradley, near Trowbridge, Wiltshire to comemmorate the Battle of Britain. The event will start at 12 noon for 12.30 pm and is being organised by Captain Richard Nicholson MBE.
All are welcome to join us and enjoy a buffet lunch, with music provided by the Bratton Silver Band, followed by a cream tea at 4.00 pm. The total cost will be only £25.00 per head. This promises to be a very enjoyable occasion and we are, of course, hoping for a lovely sunny day to complement the location at North Bradley Lake. There will also be a marquee in the event that the weather is unkind to us.
Tickets can be obtained by applying to our secretary Mrs Pat Wallington, 33 Thurlestone Road, Parklands, Swindon, SN3 1EQ. Cheques should be made payable to The Royal Society of St George Wiltshire Branch. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope. A map will be enclosed with your tickets should you require help finding the location."
