*Folk in the Orchards - folk music for St.George*The Orchards Shopping Centre, Haywards Heath, West Sussex
On Saturday 26th April, we have live traditional music for St.George and
stalls selling books, beer and traditional Sussex Trugs. We are also
giving away 500 red roses.
Entertainment on the day from:
East Hoathly Young Folk Musicians 10.00am & 12.30pm,
Electric Hoe Down 10.30am & 3.00pm
Chanctonbury Ring Morris Men 11.00am & 1.30pm
The Copper Family 11.30am & 2.00pm
Simon Ritchie 1.00pm & 2.30pm
As well as the above musical events, we will also have the following stalls:
David Arscott/ - Sussex Book Club/
Saxon Village Crafts/ - Period artefacts for sale including costumes of
the first English settlers/
Dark Star Brewery - /Locally brewed Sussex ale and cider from barrels,
served by staff in medieval costumes /
Modern Trugs/ - Hand made traditional Trugs/
Hog Roast/ - Traditional Hog Roast supplied by 'Troffers'/
