Sat 25th April St Goerge's Day Concert

On Saturday 25th April the Saddleworth Male Voice Choir will present their annual St. George’s Day Concert at 7.30pm in the Civic Hall, Uppermill, Oldham.

The choir was the first local organisation to celebrate England’s Patron Saint Day and will sing pieces from their popular male voice repertoire which have a particular English connection. The finale gives the audience the opportunity to join in a flag waving sing-along to such favourites as Land of Hope and Glory, There’ll always be an England and Jerusalem.

The choir’s special guests this year will be the Dave Donohoe jazz band who have entertained Saddleworth audiences for many years.
